How to Eliminate Unethical Behavior in Reward Systems

Your organization has a reward system for reducing safety incidents in the workplace. The system gives everyone in the company a $25 gift certificate for each month that there are no reported injuries on the job. Unfortunately, this is leading to some unethical practices. Employees are not reporting injuries and unsafe situations when they happen. Other employees are bullying those employees who do get injured because they lose out on the reward.
