Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a form of disruptive behavior disorder (DBD); however ADHD differs from DBD in that it is a neurological condition and DBD is behaviorially-based. DBD can be 'unlearned' whereas ADHD is a genetic medical condition that may, in fact, remain with the individual throughout the lifetime and potentially pass itself onto offspring.
