Some aspects of memory are also located here together with control of certain behaviours (e.g. 'social control' aspects). The frontal lobe function has also been found to be sensitive to fatigue and sleep loss. This also includes the ability for 'higher' intellectual (higher order) functioning and creativity.

The pre-motor, motor and supplementary cortex, are all situated in the frontal lobe. If these areas are damaged there may be deficits in voluntary movement and sequencing. The control over eye movements may also be affected.
